Version 1.0 — May 2025 (English translation)
This is a translation of the Dutch terms and conditions (Algemene voorwaarden). In the event of any discrepancy or difference in interpretation between the Dutch version and this translation, the Dutch version prevails.
Skadea is a digital activity guide for campsites. Through our platform, campsite owners (hereinafter: “User”) can offer their guests a widget with information about outings and activities in the area.
The User is solely responsible for all content that is posted or uploaded via the Skadea platform. This includes — but is not limited to — texts, descriptions and images (hereinafter jointly: “Content”).
By uploading or entering Content, the User declares and warrants that:
Skadea does not check the images uploaded by Users for their copyright status. It is the sole responsibility of the User to ensure that uploaded photos are free of third-party rights, or that the User holds the necessary rights or licences.
Recommended sources for royalty-free images include Unsplash (unsplash.com) and Wikimedia Commons (commons.wikimedia.org). The User's own photos or photos of the campsite are, of course, always permitted.
The User fully indemnifies Skadea against all claims, demands, damages and costs (including reasonable legal costs) arising from or related to Content that the User has posted via the platform, including third-party claims for infringement of copyrights or other intellectual property rights.
Skadea reserves the right to remove, without prior notice, content that in its opinion infringes the rights of third parties or about which a complaint has been filed. This does not affect the User's responsibility.
Guests of the campsite can suggest activities and post reviews. The campsite owner is responsible for moderating these contributions before they become visible in the widget. Skadea is not liable for the content of guest contributions.
Skadea reserves the right to amend these terms. Changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance via the email address provided at registration. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
These terms have been drawn up in Dutch and translated into English, German and French. In the event of any discrepancy or difference in interpretation between the Dutch text and a translation, the Dutch text prevails.
